Nudibranch capital of the world! This was a pure diving trip, three dives a day for six days straight. It was pretty awesome! Because it is the low season (again, because of the monsoon season), we were usually the only guests in the whole of the resort. We were also blessed with beautiful weather the first three days of the trip. Even when it was raining, we had no trouble diving, and Tony said the boat ride was quite exciting. Moreover, we had a local macro photographer expert, Dennis Corpuz, to help guide us both in our dives and on how to take better pictures underwater. I learned a lot! So hopefully the pictures from this trip will be a whole lot better than my previous trips.

The resort itself is very nice. The food is good (they kept giving us too much food, but who's complaining?). There's an infinity pool which is actually quite nice and clean. There are, however, many insects roaming around including mosquitoes, flies, spiders, and the like. But that's pretty normal since you are in a rural area surrounded by mountains and forests. You get used to it after a while though. The staff is extremely kind and full of humor. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. You really do feel connected to nature here.

Without further ado, please enjoy some of the critters I've found on the ocean floor.

"Come back for sexy time!"

Lotsa sexy time this time of year I guess.

This one reminds me of Grandmother Willow in Pocahontas.

Short Clips

I didn't know what the fish was doing at first or why its gills were pulled that way. I didn't even see the second one until towards the end of this clip.

I turned off the light and turned it back on again in the middle. Sorry about that. Thought it would look better without light at first.

This poor little baby living all alone in a small anemone. I don't even know how he found it. Fighting the current must be tough.

I can't remember exactly why they do this, but it's either to clean or oxygenate their eggs.

Hope you all enjoyed looking at the photos. As I was putting this post together, I didn't realize how many critters I'd seen and took photos of until I started editing the pictures. I'm happy though that my pictures are better with each passing dive. :)
